Auxo

Support

Auxo is a workout log for people who lift: one-tap set logging and a rest timer that finds you on the Lock Screen. Answers to the usual questions are below. If yours isn't, write to us.

Contact

Email SUPPORT_EMAIL. Auxo is a one-person project; a real person reads it, usually within a few days. Please say which iPhone and iOS version you have, and what you tapped.

Your data

Where is my data?

On your iPhone. If you turn on iCloud for your Apple ID, Auxo also keeps your workouts, templates, custom exercises and settings in your own private iCloud, so they sync between your devices and come back on a new phone. There is no Auxo account and no Auxo server.

How do I back up my log?

Open the YOU tab and tap Export backup for a complete copy you can restore in Auxo, or Export CSV for a file that opens in any spreadsheet. Save it to Files, AirDrop it, or send it to yourself.

How do I restore, or move from another app?

YOU tab, then Import a backup for an Auxo backup (this replaces what is in the app, and asks first) or a LiftLog backup (this merges). Import from Strong reads a Strong CSV export, shows a preview, and skips workouts you already have.

How do I delete everything?

YOU tab, then Erase everything. It deletes your workouts, templates and custom exercises from this phone and, if iCloud is on, from every device signed in to your Apple ID and from iCloud. It can't be undone, so export a backup first if you might want it. Deleting the app also removes the data on that phone.

Rest timer

I don't get an alert when rest ends

In the YOU tab, check Alert when rest ends is on. Then open iOS Settings, Notifications, Auxo and make sure notifications are allowed. A Focus mode or Do Not Disturb can also silence them.

The Lock Screen countdown or Dynamic Island is missing

YOU tab, Live Activity must be on. In iOS Settings, Auxo, check Live Activities is allowed. The Dynamic Island is only on iPhones that have one; every iPhone shows the Lock Screen countdown.

Apple Health and iCloud

What does Auxo do with Apple Health?

Only if you turn on Save workouts to Apple Health in the YOU tab: each finished workout is added to Health as strength training, so it counts towards your Activity rings. Auxo saves the workout's name, start and finish, with no calories and no heart rate. It reads back only the workouts it saved itself. You can change access any time in the Health app (your profile picture, then Apps).

iCloud says it is off, or full

The sync row in the YOU tab says what it sees and tapping it explains. Auxo needs you to be signed in to iCloud and have some iCloud storage free. If iCloud is off, everything still works on this phone and nothing is lost.

How Auxo treats your information is in the privacy policy.
